Biography
Have you ever feel like trapped in a world full of great unknowns? The name is Nadira Permata Imaniar, i was born on a secluded island called Batam, 24 years ago. I have always been either an introvert or an extrovert with no in between. I was a happy child, i grew up in a loving family, a nice home and a great neighborhood. I have been moving from town to town ever since.
After moving to Dumai, Riau for a few years, my parents decided we are moving to a new city, a huge one; Jakarta. 2002 was my first year in the metropolitan city. I was in awed. With so many skyscrapers and tall buildings, my house used to be located in a secluded private housing surrounded by forests and rice fields.
My interest always changes from time to time. From wanting to work in the media like radio and being an editor in chief in a prestigious fashion magazine. That is until i got the opportunity to have a taste in the retail industry. I was working in L'Oreal for six months or so- i was their business development intern in NYX Cosmetics Indonesia. Things got interesting. The job was nowhere near on how i would imagine an intern would experience. It was a real job with real responsibilities and real impact to the company. I used to run a beauty blog where i would write reviews on makeup or skin care products. With that being said- i was so grateful for the internship over at L'Oreal because make up has always been my passion aside from magazine. My perspective on a lot of things- especially the retail industry has changed ever since.
By the end of the say i am just a girl trying to find a place in this complicated, cruel world. I'd like to say that my mind works differently than most people, well maybe not so different. I'd like to think about things that wouldn't even cross some people's mind. Like why do every country has different currencies, does time really exist, is earth flat or round, what's inside an ocean since there's only 10% of it explored, do mermaid exists, those kind of things- and many more. I am currently 23 years old and i can't wait what life has to offer in my upcoming years, it won't be easy but it sure will be worth every tears and sweat.
